Test Day Guide

A clear plan for an important day.

General guidance helps you prepare, but your appointment confirmation and official exam-program policy always take precedence.

Before you leave home

Review your appointment confirmation from beginning to end. Confirm your exam, date, arrival instruction, address, and any program-specific rules. If something does not match what you expected, contact the official program support channel before traveling.

Identification

Bring only identification that meets your exam program’s current requirements. Names, document types, validity, signatures, photographs, and secondary-ID rules can vary. Exam Pro Center cannot promise that a particular ID will be accepted outside your official policy.

Arrival timing

Follow the arrival time in your confirmation. There is no universal early-arrival recommendation that applies to every exam. Leave time for travel, building entry, and reaching the 5th floor.

Check-in

Be ready to follow the check-in procedure required by your exam program. The exact identity checks and security steps may differ. Staff will explain the process that applies to your appointment.

Personal belongings

Review your program’s permitted-item and personal-belonging policy before arriving. Avoid bringing unnecessary items. Rules for phones, watches, bags, notes, food, and other personal effects are program-specific.

During the exam

Follow the instructions provided by test-center staff and shown by your exam program. Ask the proctor if you experience an on-site issue. Staff cannot explain exam content or change the rules of your program.

Breaks

Do not assume a break is permitted or that the exam clock will stop. Some programs restrict leaving the testing room or building. Follow the policy presented for your specific exam.

Accommodations

Request accommodations through the official process for your exam program before scheduling when required. Exam Pro Center does not approve requests or accept accommodation documentation. Confirm that any approved arrangements appear in your official appointment information.

Official accommodations process

Late arrivals

Admission may not be possible if you arrive late. There is no universal late-arrival cutoff. Follow your confirmation and contact the official support channel if a delay threatens your appointment.

After the exam

Follow the result and score-reporting process described by your exam program. Test-center staff may not be able to interpret results, discuss exam content, or change reporting timelines.
